probably but the donkey draw got their and what would he call you down with here that you beat?
Add to that id have bet 40-50 here and then called the miniraise if it came. I thought 2/3rds was a lot here esp with the potentially dangerous river card

This looks fine. I might bet more on the river though.

78 seems likely.

I would check/call this river card hoping he's betting a weak king or trash.
fal04: there's not too many hands i won't play for a quarter if i'm feeling it
fal04: i'll play 7-2 off if i feel it

yeah, why not c/c the river? especially with his high river aggression. i mean do you really think a weaker king or busted draw is calling the river?

I'm sorry ruckymvv, but I would never check/call this river. That is not good advice at 200NL.

If the opponent is a fish and is beaten, he will simply not bet, and you will have lost a lot of value.

I think this got played fine. Calling the raise is something you're just going to have to do, because honestly, I think you're good every 4.5x, like you said.

Sucks that he raised though. Fish are supposed to call, and then lose.

Because his range consists of a lot of weaker made hands that will pay off a bet but not necessarily bet if checked to. Sure he could have the nuts, but that's a very small portion of his range.

Yes, he is a fish. This is how we make money.

Forgive my ignorance here, but if he has high river aggression and our hero checks to him, aren't we just inviting him to make a bet that we would struggle to call?

How much are we calling on a c/c (hypothetically)?

the problem with aggression ratings is that it takes longer for it to converge than vpip/pfr, and also you may not have seen the villain play more than a few times on each street

Check call or check fold that river unless he is a super donk.
