I've been running 23/19 on this table. Not too out of line IIRC, but pretty aggressive, a lot of raising over limpers, etc.

Opp was 23/14 on this table, but sample was small. I had thought that he was more aggressive than it looks like he was. At the time, he seemed to attack weakness, but looking back over some hands at the table, he seemed to not bet postflop without some sort of a hand, at least when OOP.

He got his stack from basically 2 hands vs the same opp. He raised from EP/MP, opp called. He bet the flop, opp raised, he reraised AI. Opp was a 1/2 stack on both occasions and quite tight. Opp folded both times.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (7 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP2 ($303.85)
CO ($118.50)
Hero ($274.20)
SB ($122.15)
BB ($257.25)
UTG ($209.45)
MP1 ($147)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, A.
1 fold, MP1 calls $2, MP2 calls $2, CO calls $2, Hero raises to $10, 2 folds, MP1 calls $8, MP2 calls $8, CO folds.

Flop: ($35) 6, 6, 7 (3 players)
MP1 checks, MP2 bets $18, Hero...

raises. I make it $60. I really don't see him raising a 6 or a boat on this board with you being so aggressive. He has 89 a lot here IMO.

if you are in doubt whether he is aggressive postflop or not, i suggest you to flat call 60% and raise 40% of the time. This randomizing process will make your calls and raises hard to explain anyways.

Hero raises to $48 imo.

It's a raise, but its not a pot sized raise and I think this has the best chance of convincing opp to come back over the top again like he has done before.

I'd raise every time fwiw. Get more money in, you're deep. Don't want scare cards to fall to his 88.

don't we raise to get more money in quicker vs. worse overpairs?

I decided to let him hang himself, but think that dwarfman's play may be better given prior actions.

anyways,

turn is a , opp bets $40....

Do not call the turn. We don't want to see half the deck so raise now at least.

Villain could very easily have a 6 I'm happy to call for pot control because I don't want to stck off with AA 150BBs deep in this spot.
