Don't have a handhistory, but this should be fairly accurate

I am new to this 10max table and have just played my first big and small blinds.

Player1: $110

Player2: $560

Me: $197

I get dealt :Ac: :As: on the button

Player 1 raises to $6

Player2 and another player calls

I raise to $15

Player 1 and 2 call

Flop:

Player1 checks, Player2 bets $15, I raise to $35

Player1 calls, Player2 min re-raises to $55

Now what?

His last move almost looks like a pot building move...

Interesting hand. I'd say he's caught a boat or has an overpair. Looks to me like a good spot to re-reraise. If he just calls then I think your hand is still good. I'm just getting into nl ring so take it for what it's worth from a tourney player.
I'll be a rootin' tootin' shootin' damn fool, protectin' my chips.

One this flop, op can destake me every day of the week. I'd really need to respect the huge stack to let this one go. Has he been playing well?

Precisely.

I was new to the table so I had no idea if he was playing well or not.

I reasoned the same way here. If he was lucky enough to outflop me on such an apparently safe flop I'm paying him off especially since it was raised 7.5BB pre flop.

I re-reraise enough to cover the small stack(player1), he calls, player2 puts me all in. Now I am thinking that its likely I am beat here, but pot odds alone make this a must call.

turn:

River:

Player 1 shows : :Qh: :Qd:

Player 2 shows :Ah:

I get very lucky and we split this $500 pot.
