Hand one-That's so sick. Do you know if he is a winning player or a donk? If he is that loose but a winning player I might find a fold. But I'm definitely calling if nothing is telling me not to.
2- If you check that turn card, you gotta fold to the bet. Another option is to bet like 16 on the turn and check/fold to pretty much anything after.

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Hand 2 is an easy fold, I don't think this opponent is intelligent enough to bluff with 88 here.

I fold hand 1. A push usually means a combo draw (which this board doesn't have), an overpair (JJ is only possibility that you beat) or a set. All depend on whether your opponent is respectable or is a donk. But I think you're most likely running into a set.

i think hand #1, you need to factor in opponent read big time. If you just sat down at the table, fold. If you have seen play and know this guy, then make your decision there...

Hand 1 I call. Hand 2 I raise turn, as played I call against loose players or crappy players and I fold to weak tight and good players.

Thanks for the input.
Hand 1 I called and he turned over 10 8 for top pair.
Hand 2 I raised back and he folded. Dunno if that was a bright move though.
