SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($1.75) 3 (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets $1.5, Hero raises to $4, SB folds, BB raises to $15, Hero??

Bet the flop because Ax thinks he's good vs a button bet and lots of hands will peel here.

Pay more attention to your opponents. Just about every NLHE answer is "It Depends."
