EasyT is on a distinguished road
I want to actively improve my game. So I promised to dig up some HH. Most of the hands I see are simple cases of misplay, and aren't worth posting here. There are a lot of hands simply not worth posting.

Already I can see that a take a naked ace to the turn too often in 6 max, only to be forced to fold later in the hand by a reasonable bet.

I also see where I get "blind" when my hand improves on the turn or river, and pay off big hands where it's obvious I should fold.

Anyway, here's a hand where in my mind I played it right, and just got unlucky. Perhaps there's a better way to play it, though.....

One limper and I have the button. Should I raise with these holdings? It would make it easier to represent the ace, which I think I did pretty well post-flop.

I can't see betting the river....but if I did, he can't call with his hand.

Perhaps I just got unlucky and my hand was counterfitted. You tell me.

Raising is good but how you played it is fine. This is just a bad beat storey in disguise really. You got all of your money in with the best (apart from the PF limp) and didnt put a cent in behind. Nice.

Why do you need to rep the A when you have 2 pair. Its great that middle pair wants to call along with you here.

edit: PF fold/call or raise is fine with last 2 preferable.
Use a converter though so its easier to see pot sizes and so on
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?
