both hands villain is redzill4 - banned here, but one of the best players I've played against - prone to funny plays when playing around at 100nl
he-s running 17-14 or something, and knows that I'm daven from FTR
Hand 1 should I fake-block the river to induce a shove, or should i check-raise (dunno if he's calling a c-r though)
Hand 2: KQ is huge in his range here!

1. id check here, hes either going to go for thin value or isnt calling your bet anyway IMO.
2. If i had nothing here id bet because its a good flop to c-bet into from position. I think when i have a real hand i want to play it different because i hate a c/r from opponent.
Also, this flop hit a whole lot of his defending range so id check behind and try to get two streets of value

idk I think I'd just gaybet like you did on the turn. He's not betting for value ever on this board and it's pretty hard for him to have a hand he'd turn into a bluff here if checked to. Bet like $12ish or something, as you say he may decide to turn and hand into a bluff and rep the 8
hand 2 - i probs check behind as well but you can't call as played

yep.
I think a weakish river block bet would have induced the shove over bluff - mostly cos he said so afterwards! As it was I checked, he bet $19 and I c-r'ed less than my stack but enough that it was too obvious that I was happy to stack off
and the second shouldn't have taken so long to find the fold button, but at least I found it.
vs KQ both times, apparently
also, thanks miffed and badgers for the thoughts on the second hand - makes sense
