Hand 1:

BB is lccxjcxj, plays 16/15 with a 9% 3bet

Button is a random who I have as 12/8 with a 0% 3bet over 160

BB 3bets a ton from LP and Blinds, but I haven't really been able to narrow his range in this spot since I am UTG+1 and there is a cold caller OTB. I think his range here is prob pretty strong since I'm not sure he'd pull a weird squeeze play in this spot.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG ($24.15)
Hero (UTG+1) ($50)
MP1 ($55.65)
MP2 ($50.95)
MP3 ($66.80)
CO ($56.50)
Button ($50)
SB ($34)
BB ($55.25)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with ,
1 fold, Hero bets $2, 4 folds, Button calls $2, 1 fold, BB raises to $8, Hero ???

Hand 2:

Villain is mabedi, 16/11 with a 53% fold to 3-Bet and 2.2% 4bet over 1.5k hands

I feel his range still includes overpairs to the board on the flop, but when he calls my turn barrel I think I can narrow his range down to fullhouses/quads and like JJ+.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP2 ($54.10)
MP3 ($63.55)
CO ($70.20)
Button ($49.25)
Hero (SB) ($62.45)
BB ($51.50)
UTG ($40.30)
UTG+1 ($52.40)
MP1 ($60.85)

Preflop: Hero is SB with ,
5 folds, CO bets $1.50, 1 fold, Hero raises to $4.50, 1 fold, CO calls $3

Flop: ($9.50) , , (2 players)
Hero bets $6.50, CO calls $6.50

Turn: ($22.50) (2 players)
Hero bets $14, CO calls $14

River: ($50.50) (2 players)
Hero ???

H1 - I think BB defined his hand here by squeezing your EP raise but folding here really sucks.

H2 - I see 99-JJ here a ton from your average low-stakes fish. Interesting river spot tho but I think ship.

hand 1: fuck this lccxjcxj guy. I say you might 4 bet and get it in here vs him.Believe me,He often overplayed JJ+ and AK.The standard play is flat and see the flop imo. In my experience, he is pretty aggressive postflop and will be barreling a lot.
hand 2: easy shove. I CRAI on the turn.

1: Just going by the stats: he's not ever calling unless he's setmining with 22-77 and not much else. So I would expect him to 3b JJ+ AK definitely. Maybe TT, AQs. Just because he has that "raise or fold" mantra going in his head.
I 4b pre.

2: easy shove. I like bet, bet, bet more than c/raising the turn because your range is pretty much polarized between hands that you will c/r all-in or c/f or call one street with, so there's not really a point for him to bet unless he has KK+ crushed. He can get the same value from small overpairs by just betting the river without facing all the potential gayness of a c/r on the turn.
idk maybe it's the sample size but in the couple of days I've played 100NL on stars now people are cbet, c/raising or cbet, c, potting like crazy with tptk, overpairs. What gives?

Uh oh... the nittiest player ITT thinks I should've called

I had him at QQ+ AK in this spot which now seems unreasonably tight... calling seems best
