I'm still having trouble with what to do with AK when I make top pair and I'm getting a lot of action from a player I don't respect. I don't have any real reads in either of these hands other than that both villains have a VPIP of well over 50% and I've seen them put a huge amount of money in the pot with not much.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hand #1
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
SB ($70.70)
BB ($57.55)
UTG ($110)
Hero ($103)
Button ($254)
Preflop: Hero is MP with A , K .
1 fold, Hero raises to $4, Button calls $4, SB calls $3.50, BB calls $3.
Flop: ($16) 4 , K , J (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets $6, Hero calls $6, Button folds, SB raises to $66.7, BB folds, Hero?

Hand #2
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Hero ($114.80)
Button ($103.60)
SB ($41.40)
BB ($78.15)
UTG ($85.20)
MP ($105.05)
Preflop: Hero is CO with A , K .
1 fold, MP raises to $2, Hero raises to $10, 3 folds, MP calls $8.
Flop: ($21.50) 2 , J , A (2 players)
MP bets $7, Hero raises to $28, MP calls $21.
Turn: ($77.50) Q (2 players)
MP bets $20, Hero?
By the way the Button in this hand was Warpe, and let's compliment the hero's great seat selection at sitting to the left of a player with 70% VPIP and to the right of a very tight player. It'd be great if Warpe came in here and added his input since he was there.

Lol. Considering I sat down next to you and not the other way around, let's just say your seating arrangement was fortuitous.
Yeah, the player on hand 2 was beyond loose, successfully so. Relieved me of my stack with an A5 straight after raising preflop with AXs, then calling my QQ reraise, after which I then stupidly slowplayed my set on a Q high/low cards flop, allowing villain's straight to be made on the turn.
I'm going to refrain from commenting on this hand for the moment, until others put their oars in...

First hand I prob fold to the reraise;if you had the Ace of clubs I can imagine a call/reraise.
Second hand I lay down the turn;unless you have a read that he is trying to price his draw in I think odds are high he is trapping you.

No other takers?...
First hand I lay down. No need to go to the mat with TPTK without much invested.
Second hand (which I saw), if villain had pushed here would you have called?
