Live cash game at a local B&M card room.

Game is a mix of fish and experienced, solid semi-pros. $100 min buy-in, no max. I like to play short (~$200) because I can still make a nice profit on average and I'm not risking more than a couple hundred bucks if I take a bad beat or two in a session. Blinds are $2-$2 + $1 on the button.

I had about $170, villian has me covered, not by much though.

UTG raises to $20 - standard raise. Folds to me, I am in the cutoff. Look down at A-K suited in diamonds. Call $20, everyone else folds, two to the flop.

Flop comes: K-7-2 rainbow, one diamond.

Villian bets $75 on the flop - pretty standard for this game.

Can anyone find a fold here?

No you're going busto in that situation if he has you smoked, though I'd probably find a different game...preflop raise size and 'standard' flop pot overbets on a rainbow split board don't leave much room for error...granted that works both ways so if you're killing the game it's not a problem.

It can be super-aggressive at times. I counter this by tightening up and only entering a pot with good cards.

He turned over aces, of course. I actually pushed on the flop, because I knew I was going all the way anyway, and hoping he had either Q-Q or J-J and could fold.

I ended up losing about $800 over the course of the session to the table fish, but those are bad beat stories.
