Villain was 27/8 and had 3bet me enough to seem as though he was doing it light. With the size of it I felt that I'd get a better idea where I stood by throwing it right back at him.

$0.05/$0.1 No Limit Holdem
9 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
Hero ($18.20)
UTG+1 ($11.95)
MP1 ($19.15)
MP2 ($13.95)
MP3 ($16.35)
CO ($6.00)
BTN ($9.45)
SB ($10.00)
BB ($11.65)
[CO posted $0.1]

Pre-flop: ($0.25, 9 players) Hero is UTG
Hero raises to $0.45, 3 folds, MP3 raises to $0.8, 4 folds, Hero raises to $1.15, MP3 calls $0.35

Flop: ($2.55, 2 players)
Hero bets $2, 1 fold

Final Pot: $2.55

Hero wins $4.45 ( won +$1.3 )
MP3 lost -$1.15

My question here would be how ill-advised was this? Obviously the flop was great for me, but I think that even on a missed flop I still take it down a lot because of my pf aggression. I'd have been more inclined to ditch it pf had he made a standard 3bet, but he went min and I didn't believe him for the aforementioned reason.

Edit: I was looking through my HHs and found another hand where he took this exact same line with KK except his villain there flatcalled the min3bet and made a set of queens on a similar Q high board. Don't know if that's relevant at all (certainly not to my decision at the time) but it seems interesting nonetheless. I'm left to wonder if I caught him scared.

27/8 doesnt look like he´s truly 3betting light, especially vs an UTG raise I wouldnt give him a wide enough range to 4bet. I´d rather do this in CO vs BTN scenarios

I would just call his raise since his sizing is teh suck. As played you're just building a pot with a marginal, possibly dominated hand, out of position. Doesn't sound like fun to me. Don't expect any FE at all with that 4bet size, I know CiBs are fun but this isn't the place for it...

dont min 4bet. The rest of the hand is fine.

27/8s dont raise enough to be 3betting light. Hell even if hes 3betting you with most of his opening range hes not 3betting all the much
