No stats on villain. I called pre, thinking that I would fold to any bet, and push a check on flop.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (7 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

SB ($4.55)
BB ($10.25)
UTG ($9.95)
MP1 ($5)
MP2 ($4.40)
CO ($10.20)
Hero ($12.15)

Preflop: Hero is Button with , .
1 fold, MP1 raises to $0.3, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.2, 2 folds, MP1 raises to $2.1, Hero calls $0.90.

The more I think on this, the worse I feel about it. I want to know what the panel has to say.

If he wasn't short stacked I wouldn't mind calling a pretty weak 4 bet here, but here he's repping a big hand and if you don't hit a J you have to fold. Fold to his 4 bet or push before the flop if you think he would either fold or call w/a weaker hand. (but I would prolly fold)

I like to push looseish halfstacks with JJ preflop. Sometimes at these donkstakes you'll get called by AT+, 77+.

With no read I might err on the side of caution and fold, but if you've even got a few rotation's evidence of loosishness from this villain I think this is an insta-push.

I don't think you wanna see a flop here and let AK/AQ hit though.

when the shorty reraise leaving some money behind preflop, its usually a pretty strong hand.Your JJ is either dominated or coinflip here. i fold.
calling his 3 bet for set value in deep stack poker is ok.
