No reads on villain. Maybe my 15th hand at the table. Had only played one hand prior, won with a cbet.

why were you raising the river? did you think he was bluffing? i think if you feel you're ahead on river just call because you aren't getting anymore money out of him anyways. if he is ahead then a raise will only make it easier for him to get your money.

At 10NL from my very limited sample, 2nd barrels have become standard as I can't remember a single time I got a fold off a flop cbet. As played, the turn call made me almost go into fold mode, but his bet, $1.80 into $6 was so g-damn weak, and he'd been check/calling the whole way I felt he could easily be on a busted diamond flush, Jdxd certainly could fit, and I'd been repping so much strength it just smelled of a blocking bet. So I reraised and it worked.

If the river bet was so cheap you should have just called. I've seen monsters played this way with an enormous raise at the end. Plus you get to see his cards, giving you a valuable read.
