Hi guys,

so I ran into this weird spot today. I don't really know what to make of this and was like "... huh" . What range would you put villain on? Villain was relatively new at the table, so no substencial reads.

I put him on:
66, TT, JJ, QQ, KQ (at the point of his push) and folded. (note: I excluded KK & AA b/c I would expect him to reraise me PF with that)

Do I give villain too much credit? I suppose giving more credit is better than less. Or at least lowering your expectations from the upper boundary

cheers,
elitemob

I play more or less at the same stakes and I think you cannot really put him on any range and of course you cannot call. It looks like a very bad play, whatever he might have (air or a boat, but also some TPBK, etc).

I would make a note on this player, if he happens to be loose and you see that pattern again, I would be eager to play pots with him and commit with any TPGK or more.

Ummmm a boat is impossible here.

This is a super-easy fold.

you see this sh*t all the time at microstakes. I wouldn't worry about his range - he has you beat. If he does it a couple of times, then you can start with the hero calls.

Easy fold, wait for a hand, stack him.

oh, and if he has a boat as suggested above he's not playing fair...
