I dunno where this is going to lead (if anywhere) but maybe we can find something to discuss.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($107.70)
UTG ($123.20)
UTG+1 ($108)
MP1 ($88.70)
MP2 ($79.65)
MP3 ($100)
CO ($110.50)
Hero (Button) ($144.60)
SB ($99)

Preflop: Hero is Button with XX
4 folds, MP3 bets $3.75, 1 fold, Hero calls $3.75, SB calls $3.25, BB raises to $18, 1 fold, Hero calls $14.25, 1 fold

Flop: ($43.50) 5, 5, 4 (2 players)
BB bets $16, Hero calls $16

Turn: ($75.50) A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($75.50) 4 (2 players)
BB bets $30, Hero raises to $110.60 (All-In) (BB has $43.70 behind)

Villain is on the nit side of tag, we haven't tangled/gotten it in light or anything before. Although he's capable of squeezing light preflop (he's probably not doing it that often), his flop bet size is interesting..I really don't know what to make of it but tbh I think I'm going to peel my entire range on this flop.

I'm almost confused a bit on my turn checking range tbh :/

How do you guys view my line? Given villains bet size on the flop I think I'd be peeling with AK, and I think if I do happen to have an ace checking back the turn is probably the best way to achieve max value from his range which at this point looks alot like TT-KK or something..or no?

I dunno I could be way off and am not really sure what I'm getting at. Maybe you could ask me questions if this isn't clear and we can start some discussion.

I actually think this can be either. He probably doesnt have a huge hand, and he probably isnt calling with worse than an A, and probably isnt folding an A. So I think he folds a lot, but I think you get max value when he holds TT-KK and folds to the shove, and I think you get max value when he has an A and you have the (near) nuts. It kinda depends on your image and his tendancy to make hero calls though. I dont think youre really repping an A though so youre repping pretty thin.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

Yeah the question is..would I play AK like this?

Perhaps...given his bet size on the flop I think I could definitely show up with AK here since I'm not folding flop. And when he checks the turn, I'd probably check back with AK to get max value from his non ace pairs.

On the river if I hold something like JJ, I thought, maybe this is a good spot to shove over as a bluff if villain isn't the type to talk himself into making a big call with KK or QQ. But I doubt an ace is folding if he has it.
