Hero ???

I have not seen him play play any hands.
villain quickly calls flop and insta-bet river (I don't even think he had time to think about the river bet).
With these reads this is a insta-fold, right?
What about if river was blank?
My plan was to call a river bet (up to pot) even if river was a diamond, except the Ace of diamonds (as the Ace will hit a lot of villain ranges) as his calls seemed fishy and I under represented my hand.

(Edit: removed results & add pot size per street)

cheers new years jimmy!

river is def a fold, no matter what, but why did u check turn?

Are Everest games still juicy and filled with retardos as like they were a year ago? And do u know, if its possible to get some sort of RB there?

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Flop bet is good because you have tons of outs versus his range. Bet the turn for value because you probably just sucked out. Pot control is one thing but passiveness is another. Fold the river as played.

I see what you guys are saying for the turn (as Deanglow says I checked for pot control) and I agree that I should have bet around $20.
If river was blank what would you do, call pot size bet?

Yup, there are always retardos on Everest, it seems that due to the fact you cannot use HUD people go nuts
Unfortunately, it's not possible to get RB there, just monthly Bonus ...
You can however, use the Summit Points to buy entries in MTTs or STTs.

On Stars you're probably gonna wanna fire turn again since fewer opponents will slowplay this flop, but on a weaker site like Everest you'll find more idiot slowplayers. So maybe check turn. However, I think I'm still betting on a weak site since he'll also call again with a ten/jack.
