I seriously haven't a clue where our hero is at. All I figure is that his opponent has to have a piece at this point.

I think opp has more than a single pair here a very large percentage of times. Whether that turn bet is trying to induce a raise or is looking for a cheap showdown doesn't really matter to me, I think we're probably not going to have the best of it often enough to put in more chips here.

I love how no one is attempting to put UTG on a range. I push.

KoRnholio will become famous soon enough
He's giving us 4.5:1 odds with his turn bet in this large pot. This looks like a classic suck bet to induce our JJ+ to call here and then again on the river.

Fnord, if we just call on the flop, what's our game plan for the rest of the hand? Say he leads for $15 (1/2 pot) on the turn (same card), do we just call again and seek a cheap showdown?
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

I'll say 87s, 88 or 77, although a flushdraw, TT/99 or something silly like A8 is not impossible. 40/5 certainly includes lots of top pair type hands, but based on only 15 hands I think that's a bit early to tell.

i think pushing is the worst option. for a range....88, 44, 77, 56, 78, 99-JJ, A8...how's that sound?

Why are we playing for stacks here?

It's either play for stacks or fold. Just calling is a mistake leaving those as the only two decent options IMO. Folding is probably more prudent, but without a read I'll also push here sometimes.
