small blind is a regular running 11.2/7/3.6 over 1300 hands, HJ is a 22/10/1.44 unknown guy. Do you like my AA play preflop /postflop?
Is 4 bet preflop more optimal in this situation vs these villains?

with the HJ yet to act behind me i just 4 bet to 55-60, though your line is fine and gets max value fom qq,kk.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

Super standard.

4-betting pre-flop in this spot doesn't win the max.

this is gross you need to reisolate. generally cold calling a 3b oop is a huge sign of strength or pp and since u have the pf nuts. who cares. pp are never going to put more money in the pot unless you are wb. also the super strong hands that cc3bs r gonna stack anways so there is no reason not to 4b isolate. your already getting the most money from low pp such as 77 like he fucked you with here. and kk is gonna stack off anyways. sure qq may fold but if u 4b small to say 52you will be taking away odds and your spr ratio will be smaller so itll be harder for them to fold a a pair after theyve called your 4b.

Not sure if i want to argue this one.
With all the money already in the pot i want to look at 4betting/shoving rather than calling and let us go to the flop 4 way

No one had odds to put in $18 after their $6. You could turn your Aces face up post-flop, shove and show a profit.

Since your hand is face down you have some pretty sick mistake equity.

This is so much better and I'm so happy, not even joking.

Hand looks good.

i used to 4 bet/isolate preflop and fold all of hands preflop very often.
If i 4 bet like $50-60, i'm pretty sure such a regular nit would fold his AK,JJ or QQ ( i was surprised that he even folded his hand on the flop after putting $88 ???). Also, i doubt HJ would be happy to call $50-55 more with 77.
So i'm happy with my line IMO.

its not 4 way but 3 way instead. No one had any set odds in this spot.

4betting is a lower variance route but this is better for 2 reasons

- this makes it veerry hard for the SB to get away and he'll most likely be cbetting a lot anyway.
- we let MP3 make a mistake by setmining without odds. unfortunately sometimes that means we get stacked when it looks like we should have pushed him out preflop but in the long run this is better.
