hand 1: villain is 22/11/3 over 100 hands. Whats your plan on the flop and turn? My betpot AHK messed up, so i could only bet $8 on the flop.

 Worth looking at some ranges here I think. Most of these types of players don't 3-bet enough, so pre-flop range is likely 22-JJ, AK/AQ, and some QQ too I guess.

Of these, I think that flop line fits for:
AK - 8 combinations
AQ - 12 combinations
QQ - 3 combinations
JJ-55 - 42 combinations
33/44 - 6 combinations.

for a total of 71 combinations against this player who isn't prepared to fold an ok hand vs your AK. Your flop line is ok with no draws out, but why call the flop if you are going to check-fold the turn?

On the turn you're behind 12/68 combinations, and pretty much all of these are betting when checked to - putting you in a horrible spot. Very few players are bluff-re-raising the turn at 100nl. So.. bet the turn!!! weaker hands are still calling, cos they're still suspicious of AK - but they're not re-raising without 33 or better.

as played, wow, you put yourself in a horrible spot. Push I guess.

A 22/11/3 guy would definetively call a 2barril with a weaker hand.
But if he raises he will show up with a better hand most of the time. I don't believe he would raise AQ or KQ on turn.
I don't think c/f here is the best option. Stack a donk line? maybe

I think, you're right. We can get weaker hands to bet to us on the turn so the call gives us more value.

flop:
B/C

Turn:
Bet/call shove

...if Villain only flats our turn bet... he's probably strong/has us beaten on the river very often, and he's betting to our check on the river....what now?

If met on river:
C.... Villain shoves?

-or-

B/calls shove???


So how are we playing the river if he only flats us on the turn?

Its either a push or fold on the turn IMO. When in doubt and out of position, i'm usually leaning towards a fold in these spots. Frankly, I dont have the habit of folding to a flop minraise with a good hand.
