I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Need more info, has he been active, any stats, why is he half stacked, how long at table, etc.

Without any of those, easy call.
Save your stories 'cuz they're all the same..

Im confused by the first 2 replies being so cautious. Are we folding KK preflop often at 100NL?
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

Dudes, you never see good players discussing about whether or not to fold KK for 100bb because it is an easy insta-felt. If you think you're getting killed here you're actually a nit/tagfish who doesn't play that well.

Having said that, there might possibly be times when folding it for 100bb is correct. But so what? You gotta have a super solid idea of what you're doing, and AA vs KK and vise versa scenarios is not what's gonna effect a balla winrate.

Funny how I post that then shortly thereafter I get this hand.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($208.85)
MP1 ($177.65)
MP2 ($138.60)
CO ($92.80)
Button ($139.55)
SB ($298.80)
BB ($100)
UTG ($279.05)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K, K.
UTG raises to $8, Hero raises to $24, 6 folds, UTG raises to $279.05, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $51

I'm supremely confident that villian doesn't ever felt anything other than AA and KK here.
