Against an unknown I re-raise preflop. That either wins the pot or defines his hand a lot better. I think you played it fine post-flop... on the river villain only has $18 behind, so he's not folding. I would check/call.

Checking gives him a chance to bluff or bet 99 or TT. If we put him all-in he's going to fold any hand we beat, imo. I should have written "so he's not folding any hand that beats us" in my earlier post.

I think we're either beat by a higher PP here, or villain has two overs and might bluff if we check to him.

Better go allin for the last $18 he has. Otherwise he's getting away (checking behind) with hands you beat. If he has you beat he's pushing the river and you have to call anyway, so better do it yourself.
