villain is a regular running 17/14/2.3. 3 bet% is 4% and fold to cbet% is 50% over 1k hands. Im putting his range on the river at TT-JJ,9x maybe whiffled flush drawATs-AKs,KQs or unlikely KK+. Should we c/f, c/c, bet small/fold or bet big/fold? I doubt that i can get 3 street value from this guy.Maybe we throw out some blocking small bet?

oh,shit. I bet something like $15 and he jammed.I just feel like being pushed off the pot after blocking the river. A large river bet doesnt make sense to me either from the point of view of risk/reward.

daven will become famous soon enough
this is one of those hands where i'm torn between bet-fold $20 and check-call up to $30.
Check-call consideration is cos he's an aggro floater. But this is crap cos he checks the range you get value against behind so much, so he's only betting bluffs.

Bet-fold is super standard in a spot like this = value from 88 etc, and he's not raising with worse very often at all cos how many river bluff-raises you see from regs?

so I dunno. If you think his air outweighs his range that beats 77 then check-call. Otherwise bet-fold. In this case he doesn't have a whole lot of air cos he'll raise flush draws on the flop a lot.

bet-fold.
