villain is 21/3 over 300 hands. we don't have any notable history. he folds 17% to cbets, and hes raised 2/5 river bets so far in my sample though i havent seen where he did this.

$0.50/$1 No Limit Holdem
9 Players
Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com

Stacks:
Hero ($137.45)
UTG+1 ($120.35)
MP1 ($54.85)
MP2 ($126.25)
MP3 ($81.30)
CO ($107.55)
BTN ($100)
SB ($100.20)
BB ($100)

Pre-Flop: ($1.50, 9 players) Hero is UTG
Hero raises to $3, 2 folds, MP2 calls $3, 5 folds

Flop: ($7.50, 2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks

Turn: ($7.50, 2 players)
Hero bets $5, MP2 calls $5

River: ($17.50, 2 players)
Hero bets $13, MP2 raises to $40, $27 to Hero ($116.45)?

wtf?

Pretty Gross indeed. I think it'd be a lot tougher if he had've raised more but I'm not folding considering we only need to be good here ~27% of the time. If he's bad he could have loads of hands you beat like 9-10, J-9 Kx, 99 or even AK, you will see a floosh loads but prob not enough to warrant folding.

yeah plus I have the Ks which helps a bit to disregard a few combos of slowplayed flushes

meh I think this is a flush a fair bit but it can also be AK. I think it's not out of the question that he can sometimes be doing this with just a K but I think that's quite rare.

call cos of pot odds i guess, i don't think i can fold here at 27%, and raising isn't good. He has AsKx a bunch here, some KK, some QK, yeah, call.

infrequently, yep. But not often enough to influence the decision much, like, i still call here even if i'd never seen that sort of bluff.
