UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, 5 folds, SB calls, Hero checks.

SB checks, Hero bets $2.25, UTG+1 raises to $8, SB folds, Hero raises all-in $99...

No reads on Villian, as this is my first hand at the table.

Is this a good spot for the b/3bet?

um, wow. I think you way super overbet it. I mean, you're only winning 8 if you fold out a better hand but if they flopped the straight, you're handing your stack over no sweat. Maybe search for a smaller raise to like 28?

But yes, i think it's a great flop to make a stand.

Well in this case, Villian's shortstacked.

But in the case of him having a full stack, what would you do if you raised to $28 and then he pushed over?

yah, i never look at stacks unless people bold them. ive been doing that a lot around these forums recently
