I wasn't sure what to put them on. Not much of a read on the guy yet. A high pocket pair KK, AA probably would've re-raised me Pre-flop. Maybe a busted heart draw, but not many hearts left out there. I presume trips would've re-raise preflop to get rid of heart draw, or bet on the river. It just looked like a cheap steal to me at the end there so I re-raised. Plus I figured my check-raise might look strong enough to get a strong Jack off the hand. Did he have A-J or Q-J or something like that?

3-bet bigger preflop to avoid giving implied odds to sethunt. $12 at least.

c-bet bigger on flop. Is that how you size your bets with a real hand? If not, then you're leaking information here, if so...why so small?

Oh, and you can't assume that AA or KK would have 4-bet you preflop here. Many passive players will call your weak 3-bet with those hands often. Also, I doubt your river near min-raise bluff is chasing away ANY jack here, but may get 77,99-TT, or AK/AQ off.

My 'default' play here with no reads is to bet the flop bigger, and throw out another 2/3rd sized bet on the turn if checked to. If villain's still in and I don't hit by the river I'm giving it up.

bet more like 3/4 pot on flop
