I raise here. Villain is definitely not good enough to lead out with a boat, which means that you're leading anything under QQ and add a touch of fold equity into that and you want to play this hand strong.

I raise 3.5X his raise and bet any turn strong for 3/4 pot bet.

And since we're putting him on a mid-pair, any overcards + your agression will often get him off his hand on the turn or river, regardless of whether you made your hand or not which you will about 55% of the time.

other thing to consider is that this is likely a "lead into that fucker cuz he definitely missed that flop"

so he's likely gonna just let it go.

either that or he flopped a monster and even then you're only dead to a boat.

calling sux imo
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?
