my opponents are both unknowns in these two hands. Good play or not?

hand 1: its hard to lay down AK suited

hand 2: i think i should've raised more preflop, any thought?

its more marginal in hand 1 vs unknown given stack size preflop, right?
i think its definitely +EV in hand 2.

It's not that marginal, against a range of TT+/AK a call is good and as he's unknown he could be pushing all sorts of crap.

Yeah I like hand2 more than 1 also.

Hand1 I think it's rare you're getting any better than a coinflip here, and often dominated... A read of maniac helps

most regular shorties usually insta shove QQ+ and tank with less than that. keep notes on that and life will be easier

Are you guys serious about folding hand 1? I did the maths and if he's shoving JJ+/AK it's about neutral EV, so if he's shoving any wider it's a call. Vs an unknown 40bb stack i think it's an instacall.
