PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB ($100)
UTG ($60.75)
UTG+1 ($97.50)
Hero ($122.30)
MP2 ($256.30)
MP3 ($95)
CO ($94.50)
Button ($110)
SB ($99)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A, A.
UTG calls $1, 1 fold, Hero raises to $5, MP2 calls $5, 5 folds, UTG calls $4.

Flop: ($16.50) 5, 8, 4 (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $14, MP2 calls $14, UTG raises to $55.75, Hero ???

---

I'm not too worried about MP2's coldcall, I believe he will fold based on previous observations. UTG is a 35/6/1.2 over 60 hands.

Do you make the call?

Fnord likes to gamble with Aces on the flop.

To be honest I would probably fold. UTG aggro seems a bit low and to come over the top after a bet AND a call screams some kind of made hand with the coordinated board. Probably a set or maybe even 67 with his loose VP$IP. You also have one more caller to deal with so to me it's either push or fold and I choose a better spot.

Aces are purdy but they are only one pair!

With no other information, I still gamble here. It's a big pot, the money isn't deep, make him show you his set or whatever.

For what it's worth, I laid down a lot of hands tonight.

Just curious Fnord, what kind of action/board would you need to lay this down? Is a UTG push a fold? Is this a push or fold for you also? To me a call is the worst move with a player left to act. A push by MP2 is gonna mean a UTG call and you'd probably be a fool to fold at that point.

Heavy drawing flop + shallow villain stack makes this a marginal call, IMO.
