Villian is 16/7/2 over 250. These situations come up often, and if you play them poorly your winrate will plummet, but I'm not quite sure there's a correct line here. I play these hands a certain style, and it seems to work well, but I'd like to see how you guys go about it.

What's your line?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

CO ($80.40)
Button ($104.35)
SB ($54.80)
BB ($130.50)
UTG ($125.50)
MP1 ($97.75)
Hero ($107.10)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K, K.
2 folds, Hero raises to $4, 3 folds, BB calls $3.

Flop: ($8.50) 6, J, 5 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $7, BB raises to $14, Hero?

I typically prefer to call then play latter streets appropriately based on board texture and villian's 'strength'. I will sometimes lose value from AJ and QQ or an unusually aggressive draw, but gain value out of bluffs, overvalued hands, and AA, set, or 2p.

I think you have to step back and look in the mirror first. Have you been cbeting everything? Does opp think he can shove you off a hand with such a lame bet?

Without a read on opp, i usually call. Then he'll check and I'll check behind and we'll see a river.
