He could be on AA playing it timidly because he fears you have a set with QQ/KK, or he could have AK fearing AA/sets. Maybe he has JJ/TT if he's that kinda guy, and of course he could have AQ also, although thats a bad preflop call. My range for him may need to be wider, but these are the hands that come to mind. 86 is an oddball possibility too.
IMO this was played fine.

Range guesstimate: 55+, KQ+

Since he seems to be taking a pretty passive line it looks like a monster/draw/weaker pair hand. Given the c/c on the turn and another check on the river I wouldn't even expect him to call there with JJ/TT or so unless he really just thinks you're FOS.

I think the turn bet is fine...and you pretty much have to bet that river for value unless you think he's really trappy or likely to reraise it...and he'd have to put you squarely on 3 Qs for him not to bet the river with strength I would think.
NH.

I'd say sometimes betting and sometimes checking is the best idea. Against his stats I'd bet more than check.

You played this hand well and I like every street. Preflop is 50/50 for me.

i wanted to laugh after he called my bet on the river. :P This guy was ridiculously timid and played AK so passively that he got his ass kicked. Normally, i'd check two early streets behind in 3 bet pot vs standard TA regulars in this WA/WB situation.
His stats just looked too bad anyways
