Villain was 7.9/6.6 over 76 hands. He hadn't seen many boards but didn't seem overly aggressive when he did. Against a more aggressive opponent I'd have called the river, and now looking back at the hand I think probably should have called anyways. Thoughts?

Fold the turn. Even if he doesn't have you beat that are a million bad river cards.

A 7/6 is only very rarely betting an 8 here. I think most of the time you're smoked, fold turn.
