short stack was a donk and mid-stack was unknown. The pot was pretty big. Double barrel or check /fold ? If we bet, whats optimal bet sizing?

With your raise preflop only hand your worried about is A-5 or unless they smoothed with 88's or higher which is unlikely because they both just called on the flop had they had a bigger pair they would of reraised. One is on a straight draw and the other has over cards like k-j trying to improve. I'd bet 20 putting the pressure on the both of em and probably stacking off for information.

huh, i cant remember the last time i won a medium- to large-sized pot with 77-99 OOP without hitting sets.
