1. You were behind, fold every time.

2. NEVER limp Js preflop, they are way too vulnerable. Maybe you can pull this off with Aces but not often. And you can't call the all-in on the river. NOT a bad beat, as you were behind every step after the flop.
You should never wave at people you don't know, cause what if they don't have a hand. They'll think you're cocky. "Look what I got motherfucker, this thing is useful, I'ma go pick somethin up."

WRONG
he IS a maniac, but he pays big hands!

Hand1
make your style clear early imo. Either raise this hand or dont play it. For me on the sb (and button) i want to build the pot, either with a big hand or suited stuff (Ax,Kxeven Qx and suited connectors) or even decent conenctors T9.
It doesnt really matter where you are in this hand as you have nothing so easy fold.

Hand2
as said, never limp a pp from the sb ever! even ducks! If he calls (and he might) if you raise that hand and bet it you may have to face being beat and see showdown for cheap. Remember opp may be manaic/loose/aggressive, but if he puts his stack in your beat so dont call.

The great thing is you don't have to!

Losing 2 buyins at 50NL due to my being uber aggressive (two stupid all in bluffs), I ended up +1 buyin over the session of 222 hands because I got a guy to call of his whole stack ($65) with second pair second kicker (king 9 off) against my TPTK (AJs)

.....mmmmm
