Post subject: 1/2NL hand @ Foxwoods..more value? or..

I want to know if I coulda got more value or I played it right. Witht the flop having 2 hearts showing I didnt want to play around.
My villian just sat down and has played maybe 5 hands.
He has the max buyin = $300 and also I'm at $300
here goes he's in EP2 raises to $10
I'm in MP2 and re raise to $35 with  
everyone folds to him, he calls
Flop is   
he checks, I bet $50, he re raises to $120
I'm thinking I have top set but theres a Flush draw and a str8 draw which I do not want either to get.
I go all in ...............he thinking forever , then decides to fold.
my question, played right or could I have gotten more value out of him from not going all in?

Tough spot. Given the fact you had no reads, the play is either you shove or you flat call and hope a meaningless turn comes. That being said id rather shove since he had 120 of his 300 stack in the pot already.

smaller reraise to make yourself committed on all turns would be better. he won't see that he will also be committed until after it's too late. plus, you have the Ah, so it's not the end of the world if the heart falls on the turn, unless it scares opp. besides, he is more likely to have KQ or a random A than the flush or straight draws. do live fish really checkraise as a semibluff?

occasionally. Besides, there's a few regs at the woods that will do it, including myself. I don't think I would in this case unless I thought I had some kind of sick read on you.
There something you should realize about players at the woods, the regs are generally really really tight and hyper-agro, and most of the fish are college kids who think they can run everyone over. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes early in a session, but either type could be bluffing, don't count it out.
All that said, I flat here with a sad face and call his AI on the turn.

Drama is part of the fun. I'm really subtle about it, but I do act a lot when I play live. It's really effective if you know what people are looking for.
Generally, people who are bluffing there will be so afraid of getting caught that they'll move in on the turn. They're also likely to commit with any made hand, so it adds value to just flat on the flop.

Once you move your chips into the pot, immediately return to your standard robotic sitting position and conceal any silly tells. :P
