Villain is Marccus85 who I know is a reg at these stakes and possibly higher. This is my first night playing with him and he's playing a taggy 17/14 game. No history other than a bunch of 3b and 4b warring at some 2/4 tables.

It's possible the 3b pre is too small but 10xbb in this spot is my standard at 200 so I made it that at 600.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6.00 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG ($636.15)
UTG+1 ($612.15)
MP1 ($600)
MP2 ($1600.55)
CO ($1216.20)
Button ($645)
Hero (SB) ($630)
BB ($291)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J, J
5 folds, Button bets $18, Hero raises to $60, 1 fold, Button calls $42

Flop: ($126) 9, Q, 2 (2 players)
Hero

Deanglow is on a distinguished road
Marcus is the 2nd best FR reg on stars and I'd hardly call him "taggy."

Flop bet is good and now you just have to soul read. Checking is best imo

It's so sick. I wonder how often this guy gets to the turn on a 3 bet pot in position and just waits for that check.

I was thinking. If you were him and you floated the flop and picked up a flush draw in pos. what would you do on this turn?

Betting the turn is preety bad, you're not going to get looked up by worse and only really protect from getting bluffed by floats. Start with checking turn, as played c/f.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.
