Stupid call on the flop you think? re raise preflop out of position with JJ stupid to?! from his betting, i was hoping pocket pair, but, perhaps he would have re-re-raised preflop?
many thanks

I'm no expert by any means. But here's what I would have done.
Raise to $3 pre flop (but I dont think the raise to $2 was bad)
Your raise on the flop was not bad, but when he came over the top of you with the push re-raise and 3 clubs on the board, I probably would have just let it go there and cut my losses instead of risking half my stack calling. Sometimes its hard to fold a set, but sometimes you have to. And I think this is one of those times.
Would have been more interesting to get opinions though if you hadn't posted the results. But with the results then it's real easy to say you should have folded. Still had you not posted the results, I would have said fold anyhow on the re-raise push.

thanks, i'll remember not to post results next time.
Also, looking back, it was a silly call. I wasn't entirely sober and called a bit too fast for my liking. Ah well, i won it all back later!
cheers again!

I don't really think it is that silly of a call.... At this level it could be AcJx or QQ+. The only hand that crushes you is an already made flush... and when it comes down to it a call/fold here would be the difference in nit/fish. I would have lead the flop though. You really don't want a check behind and seeing another club on the turn.
