Opponent is really unknown. Call/Fold? Curious about before the river as well. Is my play ok? It's my standard to usually check flops like this and just call the turn because to me raising the turn is just dumb. I usually call a river bet as well but after a check I don't think my opponents have anything at all.

If you are going to bet the river, bet at least $8.
The problem with not raising the turn is that it's obvious you don't have a T, plus a weak river bet...

Not sure I can call vs. an unknown though.

I see what you mean by he knows I don't have a ten + weak river bet. But what kind of hand can he call with unless he hit the Jack? Hard to get an $8 bet paid off here.

Weird line vs. an unknown. Why not c-bet the flop? Wouldn't you with AK/AQ here? I'd raise the turn to ~$8 and as played, bet the river ~$8. You've really underepped your hand which makes the river c/r impossible to figure out. I probably call and pray to see AJ.

I'd bet w/AK/AQ most of the time. I don't raise the turn because I'm severely overrepping my hand if I do and don't expect to get called by anything I beat. I called the river and he had A2s .

I think so he has a 10 caus that ssslllooowwwwww plays. But you get a call from a lot of hands you beat this way.

I have started on 50NL 6 max stars recently and a lot of the players there seem to want to play some pokahhhhh so you can check to induce bluffs a lot of the time. But I fold to a bet like this.
