Preflop is fine but I definitely think the flop is spew. Just fold this; you are way behind an unknown's range. I rarely see 4-bets PF with AK at this level and you're behind everything but JJ.

i would agree with the above posts, against an unknown, fwiw.

however, food for thought... AQ+ may do this, i stress may. TT+ may do this. we know J9 would not likely 4bet pf. and there is no A or K on the flop. in a 25NL game, we dont fold overpairs, do we?

is the difference that much at 50NL? i hear people say its not.

against AQ+, TT+, you are 55% pf and your equity only drops 2% on this flop.

i dont think its as spewy as everyone will say. like i said, just food for thought/devils advocate.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

This is almost never AK or JJ Chopper. And yes we fold overpairs quite often at this level.

kingnat is an unknown quantity at this point
I think the weak raise (3xbb with one limper) + 4-bet reeks of Aces at this level.
So you click their picture and then you get their money?

Are you calling the pf 4 bet for set value? I think that's marginal given the stack sizes. Even if he has KK+ he won't always get all in with you if he has KK and an ace flops. If on the other hand you think you have positive equity against his range then you have to get it all in when you flop an overpair. As it is you end up putting $21 of your $50 stack in then folding, that's not good.
Must get more aggressive - Tonight we dine in $25NL! rah rah rah! etc

Yeah I'm calling it for set value. It's slightly marginal I guess, I'm getting 12.55:1 on my call. The problem as you say is putting in $21 which was not my plan and thus made my call preflop -ev.

dead money in pot makes PF okay for set value.

you can safely dump the flop as you only beat AK/JJ

I bet-fold or check-fold this flop. I mean, you're pretty sure you're behind. JJ, and maybe AKs are the only things you're ahead of - but they don't seem likely, I'm expecting AA or KK. If you're going to spend money on this flop anyway then why not do it with a chance of winning the pot through villain folding.
as played good river fold.
