Flop: ($8.50) 2, J, A (3 players)

Both Villians had been quiet, but I had only been on the table for 1 orbit.

I'm fairly new to NL, how is the PF raise and corresponding flop move?

Typically this isnt a hand I would raise OOP simply because I will be OOP on every single street after this. If I were to raise here I would make it more to adjust for my position. The flop seems fine though as played.

I don't have a problem with your oop raise. I would do it just to push the poster hand out so nothing weird beats me. I like your play just fine. Plus, is just so pretty imo.

Having said that, I'm looking out for the UTG limper as AJ is a hand that gets limped quite often in EP.

I have no problem with your play. If he pushes over you, get out. I would pray for a heart or Q on the turn, though..... The problem comes when you are OOP on the turn and you don't get a card you like. I have been struggling with this....

I raise to $3.50 pre-flop and lead flop for 2/3-3/4 of the pot. If called I slow way down on the turn. If raised I probably dump it, but it's read dependent.
