My opponent looks to be in his 40s, little-league coach looking chap with a Full Tilt Poker cap.

I'm my nitty little self.

Anyway like hand #3 in a new game delt.

FTP makes it $20 UTG.
I make it $50 with the nuts.
He calls.

Flop is :Ts:

He checks, I bet $75, he calls in rythm.

Turn is an airball.

He checks, I shove, he tanks "I guess I'm committed" and calls.

:Kh: on the river

:As: :Ks: no goot.

A couple hands later, he gets it all-in pre-flop with AA vs JJ and doubles up.

We get into it a couple more times. It's pretty clear I'm kinda tight and aggressive. I think he's pretty weak-TAggy with some extra limps (good for this game) and he calls raises a bit too loose (biggest leak)

Anyway, 2 terribads limp from EP. I make it $30 on the Button with :Qh: :Tc: intending to just take it away from the limpers and build up some mistrust for later. FTP guy calls from the BB, terribads fold.

About $75 in the pot.
:Ts:

He grabs a stack of chips and counts out $75 pretty aggressivly.

I have about ~$525 behind and he covers by not much.

What's his range?
What's my play?

i think his range is weak but still beats your hand. I'd probably just fold and get more money from retards. Even if he has combo draw here you have pretty bad equity and not much invested in pot.

I understand maybe playing a set like this. I don't get why he would play a draw like this though. Seems like an easy c/r or c/c from him.

His rang had you crushed the majority of the time and i 'd look for another favorable spot A steal doesn't become a value play just because we hit weak TPMK, unless we hit a flop pretty hard (two pair or better) with our junk hands.

I grabbed two stacks of California Yellow and raised it to $200. Seemed like a good time to turn my hand into a bluff.

I play soooo bad...

I think if you cbet and he c/r i like this more. Calling/folding would be the only options in my head though.

Is he c/ring the better part of a buy-in and playing a 2 buy-in pot with a worse hand that's not a draw?

The body language and his line here screams beat me into the pot bluff or Tx/JJish betting "to see where he's at". Although, against most live donks, you still need to fold because they fairly often call anyway after they get the bad news. I thought this guy seemed to be capable of a routine fold.

Its possible with decent bet sizing but not likely. I generally don't have much success getting semi-thinking players of TP or better, but you might be able to showdown if you call and he'll show you 88/99 here. I dont think will fold AT/JJ though to you here.

What is your play here with AT/JJ though?

Raise, although I would consider sweating a card.

And I'm assuming you're making your raise for value then? Then i guess the difference between these hands is how often your opponent has KT/AT/JJ and plays his hand this way.

Calling kinda sucks because like half the deck is a scare card.

For what it's worth, he tanked hard, asked for a chip count, if I had Aces again and when I had my last rabies shot. Then showed a Ten and folded.

I think I made a g00t read, but trying to not be results-oriented.

Bold, aggressive plays are rewarded in the unlimited hold them.

Imo this seems like one of the worst hands to be raising with as a bluff. You have 3 outs against AT/KT, 2 against QQ, and dead against a set. There's plenty you're beating I'd call and eval turn.

Its obvious he doesnt have a fd too so just rep a flush on the turn if you want to bluff.

Is this that big a deal though? How likely is he to bluff you on those cards? Sounds like he's pretty weak.

Good job if he folded KT, bad job if he folded T8 lol. Now thats being results oriented.

I figured even money or worse my hand wins at showdown. Since he didn't show a kicker probably KT, QT or JT maybe T8s (lolz.) Odd moment where I felt I had a good grasp on what he was up to. But I had to bet $200 to win about $150...
