Very horrible. Either make stand with a hand or get out. Min calls dont do anything but juice up the pot.

See, i can dig that. Preflop fold, fine. OFTEN i will. Not always but often.

However... at every point preflop i was ready to fold to ANY proper bet. With that in mind, is the play still horrible?

If the table is playing like that, no fucking way I'm folding QJs for less than 3bb.

For the love of god and all that is holy, these guys really fucking suck, QJs is a playable hand, get in there and gamble with them! Any idiot can fire up 8 tables and just play pocket pairs all day.

If you fold that Pre-flop, you could pull diamonds from your arse. High suited connector. I have no problem limping that. Calling the min-raise is fine too as your pot odds are better. Your worst odds call after that was 9:1 on your money. I'll play 2nd pair all day long getting 9:1.

Nice hand, it warranted being passive and you got to see all five cards getting at least 9:1 on your money.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Results are unimportant really but...

Results:
Final pot: $7.85
Hero showed Qd Jd
MP3 mucks Th As
CO mucks 8c Ac

Which was nice.

Hence, i felt bad not because i called but because i failed to raise. I do think i'm behind more often than i'm ahead though.

Sorry i tried not to respond to that but i'm not sure what you're getting at. my guesses are:

a) you think this is totally routine
b) you think its more of a 'tale of poker'
c) you're tired as it is getting late after a long week
d) none of the above
e) all of the above

so which is it?

a) you played the hand fine
b) many regular posters here play too tight and fold too much
c) I wan't surprised you won the hand when I saw no river bet
d) it takes a lot more than this to surprise me
e) I call/raise min-bets with all sorts of stupid stuff because people who make them often have worse and folding would be a terrible/exploitable mistake
f) all of the above

Weirdest play ever by MP3 here - raise weakly when that super scary 3 of hearts shows up on the turn...that's really gonna chase off the flush draw and no doubt A hi is good here...

For the record, on a passive table I may limp this UTG preflop, but I'm probably getting out on the flop and giving up the pot to the flush draw min-bettor...NH tho.

Renton will become famous soon enough
you're play was ok.
you made proper calls with proper pot odds (even for your five outs, should you be losing), with the probable best hand, even in a seven way pot.

Basically this was a limit holdem hand, and you played it exactly as a limit player would: called downt to a cheap showdown.

If the flop was checked would you bet 2nd pair on the turn? What shows more weakness, the PFR checking the flop or the PFR min betting the flop? I see alot of that mini-raise PF and players betting $0.25 into a $5 pot at the low limit tables. I wouldv'e raised it to $2 on the turn since everyone else seemed weak. I'd check the river if I got called because alot of these low limit players are calling stations and you'll only get called on the river when you're beat. Some low limit players will bet the minimum all the way with TP, it's like they don't have a slider and can only push the bet, call raise, fold buttons, I take notes on these guys so I know not to raise them without at least TPGK, I just take advantage of this and draw cheap against them like you were doing.
