Have 350 hands on villain, so enough to have a pretty good idea of their play, their stats are 18/3/1.8.

I open with a raise of 4xBB with AKo in EP, two callers.

Flop comes with two clubs and a K so I have TPTK, BB checks and I lead with a PSB, button folds and villain in the BB check raises. AA and KK have me crushed, KK is unlikely because there are only 2 kings left, but its possible he hit a set.

From a player this passive is this a standard fold when check raised? I felt incredibly weak tight to lay it down, but against this villain I didnt think I was ahead enough to profitably call.

Against such a nit it's not bad idea to muck it. ALso stacks depth will make it really hard to play on further streets.

Yeah, fold it and wait for better spot.

Yeah, I probably lay this down too.

This player does not check raise a flush draw OOP.

What other hand would want to check raise you w/o a set and a King on the board?
This play screams SET [after the stats you gave].
Lets see, you bet POT and he STILL raises you... yep... he's not scared of the King at all :P

Also if he DID have a set, he probably could have made more $ off of you, by LEADING into you.

**What's your play if he bets 1/2-->2/3 pot?

Also.. you might want to make your c-bet a little lower. You raised 1 and got 2 callers.
Pot is roughly ~3.
Maybe a bet of 1.5 to 2 might be better?

If he lead the flop for that, Id probably make a pot-sized raise and go from there. If he 3 bet, Id fold, and it would be tough on the turn and river if it got there.

Im not sure what I think about a smaller bet, I see where you are coming from and Im really not sure what the best play here would be in terms of my bet size. If for some strange reason BB has a flush draw, checks, I bet half the pot and the button calls, he would be getting odds to call for his draw. Its definitely unlikely though, so in this situation Im really not sure.

Yea, thats what I was going to say in my post, calling here would make the next streets tough to play and I cant imagine he is calling with a worse hand if I push.
