First and second are definitely more marginal than the third fourth but OK. I also think you need to raise less in position. Over pot is too much.

I thought the opposite. I have a hard time putting the villain on set in hand 1. If he's got an overpair or worse (very likely) it's an easy call.
#2 I think is an easy shove as well. Ignore the slim chance that he's got a made straight flush. 7-9 outs to the nuts. If he has less than a flush, throw in 3-4 outs for the nut straight. That's already enough for me, and there's a slight possibility our ace might be live.
3 is scary for me. A slow-played eight fits the "story" of the hand. In that case, it's probably time to go broke. Thing is, what else does villain go nuts with here? A nine? I think this one is more marginal.
4. Pray for AK or Jacks? I don't like this one. Edit: I take it back after some thought. Do I think shorty has Kings or aces here? Not that often, no.

Yup, the problem with hand 1 is that we have already a shorty who pushed and villain who raised. In this situation I think we'll see villain very often with set/2pairs. In the heat of the action I might push also, but it's indeed marginal.
For hand 2, Villain cannot have overpairs to this board so his range is much more tight that the other day hand:
KK,TT,99,QJo,QxQs,QJss
We have 9-7 outs to the nut flush. Plus 3 Jacks (if villain does not have a flush already).
Considering douts, let's suppose we have 9 outs in total that's about 33% of needed equity.
With the above range I don't think we have that.

I'd work on both calculating size of pot and working on odds.
