Hey gang I'm rebuilding the bankroll after cashing it all out after the legislation passed and Bodog quit their bonus . Anyways, I'll be posting hands here and there.

Villain is pretty fishy. He has gotten all-in preflop with weak holdings more than once. He would buy in short and go up and down a lot. On the river here he went all-in immediately (like as fast as possible). What do ya think?

$10NL
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $15.40
UTG+1: $7.45
CO: $3.10
Hero: $10
SB: $9.70
BB: $3.90

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with 9 9
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, CO folds, Hero raises to $0.45, 2 folds, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: 5 J 7 ($1.05, 2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $0.75, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: Q ($2.55, 2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks.

River: Q ($2.55, 2 players)
UTG+1 is all-in $6.25, Hero calls.

Fold. At 10nl you can find many, many better spots than putting it in with third pair. You've only invested around 1$, 1/10 of a buy in, why do you want to risk 75% of your stack on this hand? You should be playing this for set value or maybe hope for some undercards, imo.

And also, i doubt villain has quad queens. Wouldn't he want to try to extract some value? After the turn check/check he would most likely lead for 1.5 or so if he actually had that hand. He could easily have JT, KJ, AJ, to limp utg+1/call a 5x raise at this level. Hell, QT, QJ, AQ, QT, Q9 sooted all beat us.

I think you should try to get past the whole "omg you got it in with 3rd pair" thing, and look at the hand and the way villain played it and assign villain a range and see how 99 stacks up vs that range.
