PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
SB ($98)
BB ($166.90)
UTG ($62.15)
Hero ($129.55)
CO ($39.25)
Button ($71.45)
Preflop: Hero is MP with 2 , 2 .
1 fold, Hero raises to $4, 2 folds, SB calls $3.50, 1 fold.
Flop: ($9) Q , K , Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $7, SB calls $7.
Turn: ($23) 2 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $16, SB raises to $32, Hero ...
Table lost 2-3 players inside of the hand before and I was playing out the orbit. After the minraise I felt villain would call a push with KK, QQ, and QJ+. I thought I was about 50/50 against this range, which PokerStove confirmed afterwards, so I pushed with the idea of not allowing AQ/QJ to catch on the river.
In retrospect I wonder if I should have just called and tried to get more value from AQ/QJ on the river. Thoughts?

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Fuck, he called from the SB too...
No way he folds trips here. That said I'm torn. I like a call but don't hate a push. Either way you're sticking it in.

Yeah that's kind of how I felt. I decided on a push though because I'm getting it in either way and I don't want to give him a chance to catch if he is behind.

Nearly half his stack is already in, doubt he's going anywhere. Stick it in if you think you're ahead.
That said, with no reads or stats on villain the worst hand you appear to be against is Qx, and it really doesn't seem like KK/QQ is a possible hand. You don't think he's reraising either of those preflop a large % of the time?
