PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
MP2 ($99)
CO ($23.50)
Hero ($97.50)
SB ($183.15)
BB ($106.25)
UTG ($61)
UTG+1 ($110.95)
MP1 ($27.60)
Preflop: Hero is Button with K , K .
2 folds, MP1 calls $1, 2 folds, Hero raises to $5, SB calls $4.50, 1 fold, MP1 folds.
Flop: ($12) Q , 9 , 2 (2 players)
SB bets $3, Hero raises to $18, SB calls $15.
Turn: ($48) T (2 players)
SB bets $1, Hero raises to $30, SB calls $29.
River: ($108) A (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.
Final Pot: $108
SB likes to lead with little tiny bets when he has a 8/9-out draw, as I've seen him do multiple times, so I'm almost certain he's on a flush draw. I think I should have bet the turn harder. River is obvious check. Thoughts?

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

I like it but I would raise the turn a little harder.

If you raise turn harder to like $45 you might have committed yourself to call any river
Which may or may not be a bad thing.

Here's a hand you may find relevant that Renton and I played. We both agreed that the river was a fold vs this opponent. I'm not sure if flop and turn should be larger raises, but they're definitely good as is. The other option is basically raising flop to 23/25 then pushing turn. In this situation, I dunno about that, but if we KNEW villian had a fd then raising larger on flop then getting it in on turn would probably be best. Yeah, the latter line has gotta be best, actually, since I don't wanna hafta consider folding to a shove on a blank river vs this station, and it's not like he's folding a jack.

In the Kings hand, I really like shoving the turn.

Originally I dismissed a shove thinking that it made his decision too easy. Say I raise to $40, then a call is incorrect for him (if he just has 9 outs) but more likely than if I go all-in.
But now the more I think about it, the more I like pushing since it's likely he has more than 9 outs and it's likely that he's a dumbass and might call a shove with incorrect odds anyway.

river may be a check, but its definitely not "obvious" and you should always entertain the option of making a veebee on this river generally. I'd be tempted to bet/fold like 19 bucks or something.
moral of the story is you should always at least consider it.

Actually, it's probably good vs this villian, but I don't like it vs a lot of others since we may get raised from time to time, and when they play a queen like this they call a bigger bet, and I don't think a worse pair plays turn like this.
