I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

i probably gave up on the flop and look for another favorable spot. The thing is your fold equity on the turn is almost zero if you are behind here. also, i prefer to check preflop and keep the pot small.

I didn't post any reads or anything, but with how passive this guy was, anytime he dared venture towards the raise button it had to be with an omfg strong hand, which makes the flop not so interesting after all =P
