9-handed, 100bb stacks
Folded to Hero
Hero is HJ with A8o
CO is 7/6/3.4
BUT is 11/7/1.9
SB is 16/5/3.0
BB is unknown
Hero's third orbit and he hasn't been very out of line. Do we play this?

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

I guess I'm just a little unsure about things from the HJ position.
Thanks guys.

If the table has been folding to you a lot in LP lately and you have been raising it almost every time (as you should on most tables), then I might be inclined to let this one go (like if I just raised the button and the CO this orbit), but otherwise it is a decent hand against tight players with decent position.

If you haven't been active lately, this is a pretty easy raise.
If there is a bit of 3-balling going on, or you've just won a couple hands without showdown, feel free to dump it.
