I was wondering if FTR could organize free tourneys, and the winner can get a free invitation to the weekley tournaments. The reason I'm asking this is because some players, like me, dont have enough budget to go into online poker, but still want to try out our skills wih the best players from FTR
Im just making a suggestion, and although im sure its not going to happend, i still wanted to give it try.

We can't do freeroll tourneys because PokerStars doesn't allow us to set them up.

But this could be a possibility in the near future. We're looking into another poker room that allows us more flexibility to host our private tourneys.

We'll keep you posted.

Xianti i started searching for sites, and in PokerRoom.com you can create your own play money tables.. the problem is that the site isn't that good.
But maybe you an host the play money tables in poker room and the real tourneys in poker stars. Just a suggestion...

If there isn't money at stake, it isn't poker.

FTR is already putting up cash - I think 175.00 to the top three, and having a trophy made. I don't think you're going to have much luck getting Xianti to give you 10 dollars.

Maybe Xianti can set up a 1+.15 dollar buy-in satellite to the FTR Gauntlet event at Absolute? Or an FTR Gauntlet Jr. series at absolute for the less endowed bankrolls?

We may do some freeroll satellites to the Gauntlet tourneys in the future, but we're not ready yet.

We need to be cleared by Absolute to do private MTTs, but that will take time and participation in the STTs by the Premium Members before we get to that level.

If any of you want to sign up with Absolute Poker, please use our affiliate link:
http://www.incomeaccess.com/processi...g=a_4475b_1376

Only Premium Members* can join our tournament group at this time, as we are still testing the private tourneys there, but if you don't have an account at Absolute yet, please use our link to create one. They have a great 35% first deposit bonus and you can start practicing and get a feel for the interface.

*What's a Premium Member? That's on a need-to-know basis only. If you don't know, you don't need to know.

By the way, in case you're wondering, this season of the FTR Gauntlet league will NOT be moved to Absolute.

We will conclude all 24 tourneys of the league at PokerStars.

Wow... that has to be the first time I have heard the phrase "less endowed" used on this board without "Fnord" following right after it...
TheXianti: (Triptanes) why are you not a thinking person?

I don't know what situation people are in, so I'll just throw this out there. Where I go to school, most poker sites are blocked. However, one that isn't (along with Paradise) is AP. I don't know how many people have problems with poker being blocked at their workplace or whatever, but it could be that a move to AP would allow more people (like myself) to participate. Just thought I'd mention this.
