Now that the Gauntlet season is nearing the end, who will take home the trophy? WildBob is frozen at 385.30. Gnomes is at 314.80 with one game left that he can play so he will have to win it and hope that the turnout is large enough to get him the points. Gnomes needs at least 20 people to play in order to over take Bob. The only way he can win the season by finishing second in his final tourney is if there are at least 45 people playing.
Seasider is at 250.90 and can play all remaining games so he has the most potential for overtaking Bob. He will have to hope for large enough turnouts at all remaining games and he will have to place first or second in at least two and have a high showing in the third but it's all going to depend on the turnout.
Here's an interesting scenario: If we have exactly 10 players for each of the remaining 3 games and Seasider wins all 3 he will have 385.90 points to Bob's 385.30.
I'd like to ask that as many people as possible play in all the remaining games so we can have the possibility of a close finish. Even if you are way outside the money come and play. Remember, if you finish in the top 10 you get to play in the TOC.

Today will be my first tourn. with this league, so it's obvious I'm too late to accumulate any points on the leaderboard. So when does the next season start up?
Thanks

And don't forget about the battle in the lower regions. Who will finish 8th, 9th and 10th? Will it be dwarf, Kaartkeizer, courtie or someone else????

Ha! I know exactly how you feel gnomes!
I was hoping for a late surge - try and win one of these things (after fluking to the final table a few times).
Last two games... **shakes head and sighs**
Oh well, just have to try my best for the last two and break into the top ten.

<Jessie May>Try reading that poker face.
<Grub Smith>There's a lot of face to read. It really is a big head.

It must be a Liverpool thing, grinding in a league isnt their style. Now get to the final table of a heads up tourny, lose 2/3 of your stack in 4 hands THEN youd probably come alive Still best team in Europe I guess
(sorry to our American cousins for that)
